You DID NOT HAVE TO DRAG ME INTO THIS!!!!

24th September

In today's lesson I had to draw 4 concept drawings to get an idea of what environment I'm going to have for my video game character and then after that lesson I had to create this by getting images off the internet and adding editing them on Photoshop.

Don't you just hate it when someone points at you?!

In today's lesson I thought that I'd edit the clothing of my video game character and I gave him a leopard print outfit and blue flames coming out of his hand because he's AWESOME LIKE THAT!!! For some reason I decide to give my character a bird companion........Birds are cool.

Stop Motion Animation Killed my Puppy!!!!

19/09/12

Today in Gemma's lessons we've been looking at phenakitoscopes and how are brains create the illusion of movement when we spin the phenakitoscope and look at them through a mirror. We looked at some Stop Motion work by Eadweard Muybridge, an English photographer born in Kingston and then moved to the States where he started his photography career. Now we've got to plan to make our own phenakitoscope that's based around our identities and I need to finish my research into Stop Motion Animation.

You've opened my eyes to so many possibilities!!!!

Today....SO early in the morning  I took one of the pictures that I drew and had someone take a photo of me in the same pose as the one from the original painting. Then we had to do a birds eye view of the lighting plan in the photography room... CHICKEN WINGS!!!!

Today I continue to use photoshop so that I can create my video game charcter. I decided to take a suit of armour that I found on the internet which is from the computer game World of Warcraft.

Compressing my BRAIN!!!!!

In my first few lessons I've learnt how the different size and format of an image can affect the quality of the image. The most common image file used is a JPEG which stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group The quality of a JPEG image isn't as good as a tif image file because a JPEG image has to be compressed. The reason that tif images have great quality is because they are uncompressed files. With Else we've now started to do the pre-production work and i've created a pre-production table so that I'm prepared for when I start the production.
